Water Filters

In total our bodies contain 70% water, this does leave us prone to contamination carried in the water that we consume. Although the water provided by the water companies is treated and is considered safe to drink, we can still be at risk from the pesticides, herbicides and heavy metals which our water can still contain. Also the chlorine used to kill harmful bacteria and viruses are thought by some to take away the fresh taste of the water.

Bottled water is an alternative, but can prove to be an expensive option, while jug filters can be inconvenient and prone to airborne bacteria attack and have limited performance. Also both of these do not take into account the amount of water that we cook in, what about boiling vegetables or pasta and rice for instance?

An under sink filtration system takes care of all the water you consume and is the most convenient and cost effective way to provide you and your family with good quality water straight from the tap.

G.A.C. Filter Kit
Micro rating 20 microns (nominal)

A general purpose filter wchich will improve taste and odour and will remove chlorine. Cartridges should be changed at six monthly intervals.

H.M. Filter Kit
Micro rating 0.5 micron (nominal)

This is a very popular kit as it offers all the taste improving qualities of a carbon filter by removing herbicides, pesticides and chlorine plus many other relative chemicals combined with the piece of mind of heavy metal removal, and the reduction of lead, VOC's, giardia cysts and cryptosporidium. Cartridges should be changed at 12 monthly intervals.
